Abstract
To address the issues of poor dynamic adaptability in multi-unit coordination during electrolytic hydrogen production
as well as low efficiency and economic performance in the operation of wind-energy storage-hydrogen coupled systems
this paper proposes a three-stage power-state rolling optimization control strategy. First
in the initial stage
this paper develops a battery wind power smoothing strategy based on empirical mode decomposition to enhance the operational stability of the hydrogen production system. Second
based on the smoothed wind power
a multi-unit collaboration optimization model is developed in the second stage
aiming to minimize wind power curtailment
reduce the frequency of unit startups and shutdowns
maximize hydrogen production
and equalize operating time and power fluctuation carrying capacity
thereby optimizing the power distribution among hydrogen production units. In the third stage
correction strategies for the cold start process
standby
and shutdown operating states of the alkaline electrolysis unit are presented
and the optimal production plan for the system is formulated. Finally
through comparative analysis of daily and annual case studies with traditional strategies
the proposed method's effectiveness and superiority are validated in terms of wind power utilization
