With the development and utilization of renewable energy
the proportion of wind power in power system is growing rapidly. Due to the significant difference of transient voltage characteristics between wind turbines and synchronous generators
the voltage stabilization mechanisms have undergone profound changes
making it difficult for traditional analysis methods to evaluate the transient voltage level of the system accurately and quickly. In this paper
considering the transient voltage response characteristics of multi-heterogeneous power sources and loads
the voltage stability evaluation method of grid-connected wind power system under grid short-circuit fault is studied. First
from the perspective of fine identification of time-domain cross-section parameters
this paper proposes an improved Thevenin equivalent method to analyze transient voltage stability of wind turbines. Then
considering the transient voltage response characteristics of diverse power sources and loads
the equivalent model is established. On this basis
combined with the constraints of power transfer capability and power angle stability of the system
a quantitative evaluation method of system stability operation boundary and voltage stability is proposed. Finally
the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed stability margin index are validated through multiple simulation cases.
