The size and loss of the high frequency transformer in the three-phase LLC resonant converter can be effectively reduced with magnetic integration technology
but the integrated magnetic core may lead to the increase of the common mode (CM) magnetizing current of the transformer. In this paper
the principle of magnetic integration of three-phase LLC resonant converter is analyzed in detail
and the mechanism of CM magnetizing current generation in three-phase integrated transformer is clarified. Based on the principle of increasing the third CM magnetizing inductance
a general method for reducing the third CM magnetizing current of the integrated transformer is proposed
and an improved three-phase LLC resonant converter structure integrated with the transformer core is designed. Furthermore
the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the designed three-phase transformer magnetic integration structure are verified by simulation and experiment.
