Multi-timescale property is an important feature of integrated energy systems (IESs) to coordinate heterogeneous resources and enhance operational flexibility. However
traditional numerical methods for economic dispatch mainly represent this property by discretization and neglect the asynchronous features among different subsystems
so the dispatching accuracy and efficiency are constrained by spatial-temporal resolutions. Based on the analytical IES analysis
this paper proposes two new hybrid timescale economic dispatch models in continuous space. The proposed methods are both suitable for heterogeneous dispatching systems. Case study indicates that compared with traditional numerical methods
the two hybrid timescale dispatch methods proposed in this paper have the advantages of high precision and low complexity.
