The emission of non-conventional pollutants such as SO
3
in the flue gas of coal-fired power plants has not been effectively controlled. Its hazards mainly include low-temperature corrosion
equipment blockage and environmental pollution
which mainly come from the combustion of coal. The content of
S
ar
in 200 kinds of coal in China was statistically analyzed
the range is 0.11%-3.47%
the average value is 0.82%. The SO
3
sampling methods mainly include control condensation and isopropanol absorption method. The combination of the two methods can significantly improve the capture rate of SO
3
and the accuracy of test data. Based on field measurement and literature survey
the SO
3
emission characteristics of existing coal-fired power plants were characterized
which can provide reference for future control of SO
