As currently there are various data processing methods in power quality monitoring system

this paper puts forward a new data processing method based on data pre-processing

reasonable choice of time interval for analysis and generating daily statistical file. According to IEC international standard

it is effective to get clear and explicit graphs and quickly generate different statistical reports in controlling center by adopting the effective measuring time in collecting apparatus and reading the data file of monitoring spot in accordance with appointed format in monitoring system. With this method of data processing

the whole monitoring system of power quality can beeffectivelied applied to practical project.
