Aiming at the high requirement of safety and reliability of power communication network by power system

firstly the network’s availability

existence and anti-damage are analyzed qualitatively and weighting safety evaluation model is built up

then the evaluation grade number by using some different analyzing methods are acquired

finally the network’s safety and availability are evaluated qualitatively and its current deficiencies and the optimal adjustment scheme of network are proposed. The results show that the safety and reliability of power backbone optical fiber communication network in Hunan can be overall advanced to excellent level by adapting the proposed network optimization strategy.
