In this paper

the alternating stress test is carried out and the Goodman model is used to analyze the fatigue of the water guide bearing for a bulb tubular unit.The results show that the allowable alternating stress of fatigue is 116.9 Mpa

and the maximum alternating stress of water guide bearing is 13.7 Mpa

which is far less than the allowable alternating stress of fatigue.The abnormal vibration of the water guide bearing will not pose a greater safety risk to the operation of the water guide bearing of the unit.This paper can be used for reference in the analysis and evaluation of the same type of hydropower plants.
