In this paper

a heating fault of 110 kV transformer bushing is found through infrared temperature measurement. The process of fault inspection and treatment is introduced

and the reason of the heating fault is analyzed. The analysis result shows that the missing of inclined coil spring is the direct cause of this fault

and transformer operates normally after rectification. Finally

suggestions are put forward for analysis and treatment of such faults.
