By analyzing the "six mechanisms" management model
the system structure and implementation process of reservoir management based on the "six mechanisms" are constructed. The study shows that the implementation of "six mechanisms" in risk management and control is an important way to improve the safe operation and management of reservoirs. As well
it is also the key step to cut off the "hazard→ hidden risk→ accident" chain. This paper
taking the creation of "six mechanisms" at Weifang Bailanghe reservoir as a case study
elaborates the important role and practical value of the "six mechanisms" in enhancing the reservoir safety management in detail. Moreover
combined with practice
some proposals on further development of the "six mechanisms" are put forward
to enrich the concept of reservoir safety management.
