The erosion process of cemented soil blocks by H2SO4 solution with different concentrations is simulated through tests in lab. The relationship of the electrical resistivity with various parameters and unconfined compression strength is studied using the resistivity method. The result has shown that after eroded by H2SO4 solution
the electrical resistivity and compression strength of cemented soil are decreasing
whereas the formation factor and the density of cemented soil are increasing with the increment of H2SO4 solution concentration; the compression strength of cemented soil blocks is in proportion to electrical resistivity. By taking into account the erosion factor
a electrical resistivity equation related to H2SO4 concentration and porosity is proposed using the corrected Archie’s law. After analyzing the results of unconfined compression strength test and observing the photos of sample surface erosion
a method is proposed to evaluate the erosion degree of cemented soil eroded by H2SO4 solution through the electrical resistivity.
