It is important to evaluate the in-situ bearing capacity of rock-mass effectively for the design and running in safety of hydro-engineering. Based on the measurement data
the evaluation method of in-situ bearing capacity of rock-mass has been studied. The evaluation method of in-situ bearing capacity of rock-mass in long term high hydraulic head is prsented with definite physical meaning. The method and theory of hydraulic fracturing and one step water pressure test are also discussed. The relation of in-situ bearing capacity of rock-mass
in-situ stresses and pore pressure has been studied. The time-effect and its influence of in-situ bearing capacity of rock-mass is discussed. The value range of in-situ bearing capacity of rock-mass is proposed depend on the effect of fracture normal stress and pore pressure.
