Two anti-earthquake design specifications for structure and railway are used respectively to judge the liquefaction of tunnel foundation of Nanjing Subway I in this paper. In two specifications
different considerations of factor influencing liquefaction
such as the depth of penetration point
content of clay
the thickness of unliquefied layer and the depth of underground water are analysed in detail. It is considered that different considerations of unliquefied layer result in difference in computations.
