The high penetration of distributed energy resources(DERs) in distribution networks introduces significant operational and control challenges.Microgrid(MG) applications with diverse distributed control methods attract substantial attention from the research community
offering enhanced flexibility and reliability for power systems.Building on this foundation
it proposes a secondary control strategy employing synchronous condensers(SC) for voltage support. The developed SC integrated DERs system demonstrates effective frequency and voltage recovery capabilities within short timeframes. Results indicate that SC participation improves system frequency and voltage responses by leveraging SCs' inertial response and rapid reactive power control
thereby providing theoretical and practical insights for optimizing stability control strategies in MGs under high renewable energy penetration scenarios.
