The melting treatment of fly ash from municipal solid waste(MSW) incineration is a newly emerging advanced method for disposal of fly ash from MSW incineration

which can make the disposal of fly ash to be harmless

to reduce ash quantity

and to reuse them.The test study of molten fly ash from MSW incineration has been earried out on an electrothermic type molten test facility

the physical properties of molten slag for said fly ash

such as porosity

and specific surface area etc.

being systematically analysed by using the mercury intrusion meter

and the influence of molten temperature and time upon the physical property being studied.The crystal phase of fly ash and molten slag has been analysed by using XRD

and the influence of molten temperature

cooling mode

and dosage of calcium oxide upon crystal phase of the molten slag being also studied.
