Centred on the estimation of mercury emission from coal-fired boilers in power plants
a model for estimating the mercury emission from typical coal-fired boilers has been established.Based on practically measured data of mercury emission from coal-fired boilers in typical power plants
the mecury emission affecting coefficient Fij in each part of typical coal-fired boiler system has been determined
at the same time
the annual mercury emission from coal-fired boilers in typical power plant being estimated. The total mercury emission from typical coal-fired boilers of of 100 MW unit is about 40~50 kg/year in China. In the event of only electrostatic precipitator(EP) being allocated in tail section of the boiler
the gaseous mercury emission ratio reaches up about 80%;in the case of EP and wet flue gas desulphurization(WFGD) system being simultaneously allocated
the gaseous mercury emission ratio decreased to 30% of the total mercury emission;if EP
WFGD
and selective catalytic reduction(SCR) being used together
the gaseous mercury emission may decrease below 15% of the total mercury emission.
