optimization tests on the 1 025 t/h boiler for a power plant was conducted to investigate the influence of such parameters as the oxygen content at outlet of the furnace
primary air pressure and the coal particle size etc.on the heat efficiency of boiler
as well as the auxiliary power consumption and the simplified net boiler efficiency.Result show that
under high load condition
the net boiler efficiency reaches the maximum value when the oxygen content at outlet of the furnace is controlled at 3.0% and the primary air pressure at 8.1 kPa.Within the test range
the influence of coal particle size on power consumption of coal pulverizing system is small. It is suggested that
the primary air pressure at entrance of the coal mill and the coal particle size should be decreased as low as possible
on the premise of ensuring the primary air tube not be blocked and the mill output satisfy the running requirements.
