Investigation on risk assessment and management technology for such important boiler components as high-temperature surface

thermal pipeline and headers was performed.The qualitative method with different impact factors at different stages of the components' whole life cycle

the components' actual state based semi-quantitative method and service life loss based quantitative method were put forward.These three methods constituted a complete risk assessment and management system for the boiler components.Matrix rating was conducted on security and economy caused by the components' failure

to determine the failure consequence grade.Finally

the risk matrix was formed to perform risk rating for all components.On this basis

risk assessment and management system software for boiler important components was developed

in order to make reasonable and effective maintenance plan and maintenance strategy.
