A series of CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by impregnation method. The denitrification property of the catalysts was investigated in a simulated flue gas denitrification experimental device. The prepared samples were characterized by the BET specific surface area analyzer and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The effect of CuO loading
calcined temperature
and promoter CeO2 on catalytic performance was investigated. The XRD results showed that the intensity of X-rays diffraction pattern of CuO wais enhanced with the CuO loading amount. The BET results indicated that the CuO loading amount had a great influence on surface structure of the CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst. With the increasing CuO loading amount
the specific surface area and pore volume samples showed a decrease tendency while the average pore size slightly increased. The CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst had higher catalytic activity
which was suitable to the selective catalytic reduction of NO.The catalyst calcined at 500℃and loaded CuO with 7.5% had better catalysts morphology
and its denitrification efficiency can reach 91.4%.Addition of CeO2 can enhance the denitrification efficiency to 94.5%.
