volume expansion and pressure drop will occur during the high pressure drainage water flowing inside pipelines of a waste incineration power plant. On the basis of experiences on waste to power
the authors pointed out the Darcy's equation was not fit for calculating the allowed specific pressure drop in the high pressure drainage water pipeline. Thus
they proposed that
during the diameter design for the main drainage pipe
two conditions should be simultaneously controlled. One was the ratio of the pipeline flow volume to the evaporation expansion volume should be within the range from 1to 1.5
the other was the flow rate of wet steam in the main pipe should be within the range from 15m/s to 25m/s.
