Isothermal gasification characteristics of biomass char(BC)and coal char(CC)in CO2 atmosphere at 900℃
950℃
1 000 ℃ and 1 050 ℃ was investigated. The gassolid reaction models such as the volume model(VM)and shrinking core model(SCM)were applied to describe the reaction behavior of the chars. The results show that
with an increase in gasification temperature
the gasification rate of both the BC and CC increased and gasification reactivity of the BC was superior to that of the CC.The BC particle has flake-like structure
so the best model describing its gasification reaction reactivity is the SCM with shape factor m of 0
under this condition
the BC's activation energy was101.86kJ/mol.While for the CC
the SCM with shape factor m of 1/2and 2/3can both describe its gasification process
and the isothermal reaction activation energy in CO2 atmosphere was 159.68kJ/mol and168.88kJ/mol
