thermogravimetric experiment on mixed combustion of oil shale and coal was carried out by using thermogravimetric-differential thermogravimetric-differential scanning calorimetry(TG-DTG-DSC).The mixed combustion characteristic curves and parameters were analyzed and the combustion kinetic parameters were calculated by the subtractive differential method. The results show that
with the increasing oil shale
two peaks appeared gradually in DTG curves of the mixed sample at low temperature and high temperature
respectively
and an upward endothermic peak showed on DSC curve between the above two DTG peaks.Enough heat should be provided in medium stage of the co-combustion.Moreover
the combustible characteristic index
ignition characteristic index and synthesized combustion characteristic index of the mixed fuels decreased slowly and all of them were larger than that during the oil shale combustion. The combustion process of S2 and S3which contains more coal are mainly coke ignition combustion at high temperatures
and the activation energy and frequency factor are both relatively low.The combustion process of S4
S5 and S6which contains more oil shale are divided into two phase
the volatile's devolatilization and ignition at low temperature
and the coke's ignition and combustion at high temperature. The activation energy and frequency factor at low temperature are both higher than that at the high temperature. The reaction order at low temperature is about 1.1
and that at the high temperature is about 0.6.The co-combustion characteristics of oil shale and coal are more preceding.
