The solid particle concentration in furnace of the CFB boiler has great influence on water wall heat transfer
furnace temperature distribution and heating surface abrasion.Measuring holes were set on water walls of a subcritical 330 MW unit CFB boiler.A drawer-style device is used to detect the local particle concentration in the furnace
thus to investigate the horizontal distribution of particle concentration near the water wall.The results show that
within a 1mradius to the water wall
the particle concentration decreases with the increasing distance to the water wall
and the particle concentration remains stable in the core region at the same height.The higher the measuring holes
the lower the particle concentration.A rise in the superficial gas velocity increases the particle concentration in the upper section of furnace.A correlate equation of the horizontal distribution of particle concentration near the water wall is fitted with the experimental results.The calculation error of this equation is less than 20%.
