The partial increment factor decomposition method was applied to establish an analysis model for boiler performance indexes. The effects of boiler main operation parameters(such as exhaust gas temperature
oxygen content in flue gas and carbon content in fly ash)on boiler efficiency were quantitatively analyzed. Moreover
this model was employed on a 300 MW unit boiler. The results show that
all the increments of exhaust gas temperature
oxygen content in flue gas and carbon content in fly ash reduced the boiler efficiency. The exhaust gas temperature and carbon content in fly ash were the main factors affecting the boiler efficiency.
