Taking Lijiata bituminous chars and Jinjie bituminous chars as the object

the characteristics of NO-char reaction in atmosphere with high CO2 concentration were investigated in a fixed-bed reactor.The effects of reaction atmosphere

heating rate

coal particle size and minerals on the NO-char were obtained.The experimental results show that

high concentration of CO2 was detrimental to NO reduction by chars.There was a higher production of CO in high-concentration CO2 atmosphere than in N2 atmosphere

but it didn't accelerate the NO reduction.Pyrolysis atmosphere and heating rate had little effect on char reactivity.The char formed from smaller coal particle exhibited a stronger reactivity.Effects of mineral matters in coal char on NO reduction were different

depending on the specific ingredients.
