Emission from coal combustion is one of the main approaches of Pb appearing in the atmosphere.Studying the Pb emission characteristics in coal-fired plants can provide fundamental basis for heavy metal pollution control technology. This paper estimated the emission of Pb from coal combustion to the atmosphere in recent years
summarized the researches on reaction mechanisms of Pb during coal combustion
and analyzed the distribution and enrichment characteristics of Pb.Moreover
the effect of dedust and desulfurization devices on Pb emission were investigated. It shows that
for the same boiler
the coal property and combustion condition are the factors most affecting the Pb emission
while for boilers with different capacities
the reaction mechanisms of heavy metal during combustion and condensation mainly affects the Pb emission.
