An universal model for numerical analysis on thermal hydrodynamic performance of steam generation system was proposed.Being in analogy with direct-current circuit and taking target components as research objects
this model was built based on the conservation laws of mass
momentum
energy and basic formulas of the pressure-flow-rate relationship.Considering the mass balance of a single component
the pressures of the target components were derived through solving the pressure equations
then the mass flow rate was updated using the calculated pressure values.Taking the water wall system in a typical300 MW subcritical natural circulation power plant boiler and the steam generation system in a Shell gasifier
the accuracy of the above model has been evaluated. On this basis
taking account of the complex networks and various heat flux profiles of the steam generation system
this model is allowed an accurate analysis on the thermal hydrodynamic performance at the steam pressure from subcritical to supercritical conditions. The temperature of heating surface and the potential risks related to heat transfer deterioration can be calculated and assessed
