Transformation was conducted for low NOxburner of hexagonal tangential coal-fired boiler in a 300 MW unit.Six over fire air nozzle in three layers were added at the place with height of 7mabove the main burner.The Fluent software was applied to carry out three dimensional simulation for the combustion inside the furnace.The results show that

the boiler efficiency was 91.30% and 90.70%
the denitration cost were 0.022 0yuan/(kW·h)and 0.016 3yuan/(kW·h)
