to solve this problem
the standard three electrode chemistry system was applied to investigate the chlorine production performance of two kinds of DSA anode materials tailored for the concentrated desulfurization wastewater electrolysis. Moreover
the effects of current density
temperature
pole plate cleaning and other factors on chlorine producing processes were analyzed. The results show that
the Keramox electrode exhibits significantly better performance than the MS-0880 electrode in chlorine producing processes. The optimal current density is 100mA/cm2 and the optimum electrolytic temperature is 20 ℃for the Keramox electrode as well as the corresponding current efficiency and direct current consumption are 62.6% and 4.59(kW·h)/kg
respectively.Periodic acid pickling can effectively maintain electrode performance. The strengthen lifetimes of both electrodes are more than 30 h
satisfying the industrial application request. The processes of producing chlorine by electrolysis conforms to the zero-order reaction kinetics law under given conditions.
