The denitrification system can not be properly put into service during low load cycling
which has been new problems required to be solved urgently during the regional power grid green scheduling.Currently
most of the pumped storage power plants and coal-fired power units joint peaking optimization research did not consider the effect of utilization rate of the denitration system on the peaking energy consumption. Therefore
on the basis of qualitative analysis about the denitration energy efficiency affected by the pumped storage power plants and thermal power units peaking
this paper established the pumped storage power plants and coal-fired power units joint peaking optimization model by considering the denitration costs
and solved the model by applying the GAMS software. The results show that
the pumped storage power plants and coal-fired power units joint peaking obviously affects the cost of denitration.Using the pumped storage power plants and coal-fired power units joint peaking can not only effectively alleviate the regional power grid peak pressure
improve the system peak load regulation economy
but also reduce the total denitration cost and generation cost of coal-fired units in the regional power grid. This research results can provide a reference for green scheduling.
