Taking the deactivated and regenerated denitration catalysts used in a power plant as the research objects
the full-size catalyst performance test bench and several instruments such as XRF
BET
SEM and XRD were employed to carry out performance test and characterization analysis for the catalysts. The results show that
after 24 000 hours' operation
two layers of the catalysts could not satisfy the design requirements that the de-NOxefficiency should be higher than 83% and the ammonia escape rate be below 3 μL/L. The relative activity value of the deactivated catalyst was 0.70. After regeneration
the catalyst pores were cleared and the performance indexes of the regenerated catalyst returned to a level of new catalyst. The de-NOx efficiency and ammonia escape rate of the two layers of catalysts met the performance requirements. The SO2/SO3 conversion rate was well controlled. The relative activity value of the regenerated catalyst increased to 0.99 and the denitration performance was significantly improved.
