Taking the heat-resistant steel T92 used for high temperature superheater of ultra supercritical boilers as the research object
considering the stress factors in the working process of the superheater
the stress was applied to the C-type specimen in advance by bolting
then the high temperature salt test was carried out in muffle furnace. The results show that
to a certain extent
the melting and volatilization of the composite sulphate at 700 ℃ affected the high temperature corrosion behavior of the coated samples of T92 steel. In the case of stress-free loading
the corrosion form of the T92 steel at 700 ℃ was mainly high temperature oxidation. In the case of stress loading
the stress at 700 ℃ had a positive effect on salt corrosion. For T92 steel pipelines in superheaters of large scale boilers
the effect of stress change on high temperature performance of the pipe should be noticed during the operation.
