Due to the interactive impacts of multiple systems

such as natural gas system and transportation system

distribution system plays a crucial role in energy internet. By analyzing the conception and characteristics of energy interne

we propose a research route to investigate the planning technique of the distribution system orienting to energy internet

which consists of four key technical fields

including the micro-grid planning

the active distribution system planning

the collaborative planning between distribution system

and natural gas system

as well as the collaborative planning between distribution system and transportation system. In the process of summarizing the status quo of relevant researches

the key theoretical issues and challenges in each technical field are discussed

such as planning models

algorithms and processing methods of uncertainly factors. Finally

research prospects are given for the guidance of further research in distribution system planning.
