In order to further study the reason of metal passivator consumption so as to formulate and optimize the adding scheme of metal passivator
we studied the consumption law of metal passivator Irgamet 39 in transformer oil at different temperatures and the effects of DBDS(dibenzyl disulfide) concentration
DBPC(2
6-di-tert-butyl-4-methyl phenol) concentration

and copper corrosion degree on Irgamet 39 consumption in transformer at the same temperature. Irgamet 39 concentration in transformer oil will be determined by the high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) method. The results show that temperature is a key factor in Irgamet 39 consumption
Irgamet 39 concentration remains stable at low temperatures(below 60 ℃)
and Irgamet 39 concentration decreases rapidly at high temperatures(above 90 ℃). Paper
uncorroded copper
corroded copper
running oil
and DBDS will increase the consumption of Irgamet 39. DBPC has little effect on the consumption of Irgamet 39. The mechanism of Irgamet 39 action can be seen
in addition to the high temperature of its own decomposition and the formation of protective film to prevent the formation of corrosion of the copper corrosion of copper
the transformer oil and insulation paper are important factors affecting the consumption of Irgamet 39.
