In order to study the microcosmic dynamics process of droplets in high-voltage electrostatic field
we observed the motion state of droplets in the non power cavity electrode device by using a high-speed camera. We also analyzed the effects of voltage and particle size on acceleration
movement trajectories
and the expanding angle of atomization. The results show that the voltage will affect the droplet diameter distribution. The higher the voltage is
the greater the probability of large droplet is. The atomizing voltage and droplet diameter will affect the atomizing semi-angle and the trajectory of droplets in the electric field. The atomizing voltage and the droplet diameter will affect the acceleration of the droplet in the electric field. The acceleration is proportional to the square of the electric field intensity and inversely proportional to the droplet diameter. During the process of the droplet getting far away from electrode tip
the electric field intensity decays rapidly
the electric field force of the droplets decreases rapidly
and the droplets accelerate in the electric field. And when the distance between the droplet and the electrode tip is longer than 10 mm
