In order to research the effect of temperature on the partial discharge of insulating paperboard with different aging degree
we established a model and experimental platform for oil-paper insulation creeping discharge. The board with different aging degree was prepared by thermal aging method
and the experimental temperatures of 40 ℃
60 ℃
and 100 ℃ were chosen to accelerate the discharge. The discharge characteristics of the paperboard under different temperatures and aging degrees were collected by partial discharge detector
and the carbonized parts of the paperboard were analyzed by infrared Fourier image and microscopi
c observation. And the electric field was simulated and analyzed combining with the theory. The results show that
the influence of the pre-discharge temperature on the creep discharge of the paperboard with different aging degree is small
and the discharge is mainly caused by the transformer oil near the electrode. And in the later stage of discharge
the discharge leads to the decomposition of the oil on the surface of the aging paper board to produce a large amount of gas. Meanwhile
the higher the temperature
the greater the role of promoting the decomposition of oil
the more intense discharge
related discharge characteristic quantity grows more quickly
and the amplitude is bigger. The maximum field strength of the diameter 0.125 mm is lower than that of the diameter 0.25 mm
and the high field intensity region is less; the electric field intensity increases about 1.9
2
.5 MV/m at 100 ℃ than at 40 ℃
and the higher the aging degree is
the higher the field intensity is. The experimental study shows that high temperature for different aging degree of the board along the surface of the film is greater than the low temperature
and the effect is more obvious in the late discharge. The higher the degree of aging of the cardboard
the greater the impact by the temperature
and the higher the degree of aging of the board
the more serious the insulation damage at high temperatures.
