In order to study the influences and the main pathways of type and mole fraction of the predominant reactive species on kerosene/air mixture in the combustion process
we calculated the chemical reaction mechanism of plasma jet ignition by using sensitivity analysis and ROP. The simulation results show that oxygen atom
hydrogen atom
and hydrocarbon radicals can reduce the ignition delay time of kerosene/air mixture significantly. The greater the particle mole fraction is
the shorter the ignition delay time will be. Hydrocarbon radicals play a dominant role in shortening the ignition delay time of kerosene/air mixture by the primitive reaction R32 and R34. When adding 2% hydrocarbon radicals
the ignition delay time is 9.85 microseconds
which is 68.2% shorter compared with the normal plasma ignition. The influence of oxygen atom on ignition delay time is the same as that of hydrogen atom.
