In order to develop specific induced voltage/current suppression measures
we performed the theoretical calculation and characteristic analysis of the fundamental frequency induced voltage and current of DC cable in case of hybrid laying of a modular-multilevel-converter(MMC) with AC and DC cables. Based on the structure and working principle of MMC converter
the calculation method of the fundamental frequency impedance of the converter is obtained. Combined with the calculation of the fundamental frequency induced voltage when AC and DC cables are hybrid laying
the theoretical calculation formula of the fundamental frequency induced current is given. The influence of the coupling distance between cables
the grounding method of DC sheath metal sheath and the crossover of DC cable on electromagnetic induction characteristics is analyzed. The fundamental frequency induced voltage in various transient processes of the AC system is calculated by using a symmetrical component method. Based on PSCAD/EMTDC
the simulation model of MMC AC/DC cable hybrid laying is established
the errors of the fundamental frequency sensing characteristic under steady state and transient state are less than 7% and 9.6%
verifying the validity of the theoretical calculation and the correctness of the influence of electromagnetic induction characteristics. The simulation results also show that reducing the grounding resistance of the metal sheath and improving the magnetic permeability of the sheath material can effectively enhance its shielding effect on the electromagnetic induction
and electromagnetic induction of the AC cable can be reduced with DC cable cross-displacing.
