In order to improve the analysis method for the radial bending stress of the winding in the short-circuit resistance check of a power transformer
the calculation method of the radial bending stress of the winding was analyzed
and tests for samples were carried out. The test data of the bonding strength of continuously transposed conductors(CTC) under different temperature conditions and the non-proportional elongation strength of copper conductors(R
P0.2
) were compared. The influence of temperature on the flexural strength of CTC conductors and the flexural strength of CTC conductors under different numbers of sub-conductors were tested and analyzed. Furthermore
the concept of the curing coefficient of self-adhesive conductive wires was proposed. Through the tests of CTC conductors
the distribution range of the curing coefficient is obtained. The research results show that the curing coefficient of ordinary CTC conduc
tors at 105 ℃ is between 3 and 5
which can provide test data support for improving the theoretical evaluation of short-circuit withstand capability of power transformers.
