High penetration renewable energy is a new normal state in the future power system. Energy storage becomes a key supporting technology for future power system because of its ability to separate the production and consumption of electric energy from time and space. In order to maximize the utility of resources in the joint planning of energy storage and power grid
first
the operation characteristics of energy storage are taken into consideration
and the system value evaluation theory is adopted to analyze the system value of energy storage at the level of planning and operation. Second
the investment cost
system operation cost
energy storage system value and depreciation of fixed assets in power grid planning cycle are taken into consideration
and a joint planning model of energy storage and transmission network aiming at the optimal economy is established. Finally
the proposed model and method are verified by the improved Garver-6 node system and compared with the traditional route planning scheme. The research reveals that
under certain scenarios
storage-transport joint planning can achieve multiple service values at the planning and operation levels
and its comprehensive economic benefits are superior to those of simple line planning. The results of this paper can provide a reference for the future development of joint storage-transport planning.
