Abstract
In order to improve the voltage inertia and damping support ability of virtual DC machine
to further simplify the structure of additional controller
and to significantly improve the dynamic stability of DC microgrid
a new type of virtual DC machine control(VDMC) is proposed in this paper. Firstly
the bidirectional DC/DC converter is compared with DC machine
and the VDMC model suitable for bidirectional DC/DC converter is obtained by simulating the power regulation characteristics of DC machine. Secondly
by improving the proposed VDMC
a more simplified control structure is obtained
and it has better voltage dynamic performance and inertia support ability. On this basis
an adaptive voltage inertia regulation control is designed for the improved VDMC
which can dynamically respond to the voltage change and further improve the dynamic stability of the system. Finally
according to the criterion of impedance ratio
the supporting effect of the proposed VDMC on the stability of the system is theoretically analyzed
and the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by a time-domain simulation example.
