Abstract:
A novel single-stage isolated AC-DC converter and its control scheme were proposed. On the premise of not changing the characteristics of two-stage AC-DC converter of totem pole bridge-free PFC (TP-PFC) cascaded DAB, the TP-PFC high-frequency bridge arm and the first bridge arm on the original side of DAB multiplex a H bridge, thus reducing the number of switching devices. Moreover, compared with TP-PFC cascaded DAB two-stage AC-DC converter, the electrolytic capacitor of DC bus of the proposed scheme is canceled and the current peak of AC inductor is suppressed. Under the proposed control scheme, the soft switching can be realized for all operation conditions. In this paper, the operation characteristics of the proposed topology are analyzed in detail, including operation mode, topological advantages, conversion characteristics and soft switching features. Secondly, a simple control strategy is proposed based on topology analysis. Finally, the proposed topology and control scheme are verified by experiments.
