Abstract:
The single cell voltage uniformity of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) stack is one of the key factors and main technical parameters for the design, manufacture and operation control because the voltage uniformity reflects and affects the output performance and lifetime of PEMFCs. Due to the single cell voltage uniformity dominated by several factors, the existing uniformity researches were overviewed from six aspects, including the evaluation methods, the materials and structures, the operational parameters, loads, system control and life cycle. Meanwhile, the influence mechanisms of the above-mentioned six aspects on the voltage uniformity were summarized in detail. Finally, the corresponding suggestions and prospects were made for the future development of the fuel cell uniformity researches which will benefit the developments and applications of vehicle fuel cell technologies in China.
