Abstract:
The renewable-energy-dominated power system is an important component of the new energy system and a key carrier for the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. The rapid development of the renewable-energy-dominated power system has brought about the challenges, including the complexity of elements of the source-network-load-storage elements, the interactivity of the coupling of stability, the diversification of the operational constraints, and the expansion of the economic cost difference of different construction schemes. Therefore, the characteristic changes of balance and stability of the renewable-energy-dominated power system are analyzed in this paper. Then, five key technology directions are proposed and discussed, including wind-solar ratio, energy storage planning, grid reconstruction, optimization of converter parameters, and short-circuit control, so as to provide a reference for the construction of the renewable-energy- dominated power system.
