Development and Prospect of Chemical Looping Combustion Technology in China

  • 摘要: 化学链燃烧通过载氧体将空气中的氧传递给燃料、避免了高耗能的空分制氧,能够在较低能耗下实现CO2的源头捕集,是最具潜力的固体燃料大规模碳减排技术之一。该文对中国化学链燃烧的研发进展进行系统的综述,介绍化学链燃烧技术在中国的中试进展、工程示范部署及技术路线图,综述化学链燃烧在中国的基础研究现状,包括载氧体制备、载氧体氧化/还原反应动力学及模型、载氧体测试方法、双流化床等;并简要讨论化学链燃烧技术未来的发展趋势。

     

    Abstract: Chemical looping combustion, which transfers oxygen from the air to the fuel through an oxygen carrier, avoids the energy-intensive process of oxygen separation, enabling CO2 capture at the source with lower energy consumption. It is regarded as one of the most promising solid fuel-based large-scale carbon emission reduction technologies. This paper provides a systematic review of the research and development progress of chemical looping combustion in China. It introduces the pilot-scale progress, engineering demonstration deployments, and technological roadmaps of chemical looping combustion technology in China. The review covers the current status of fundamental research on chemical looping combustion in China, including oxygen carrier preparation, kinetics and models of oxygen carrier oxidation/reduction reactions, oxygen carrier testing methods, and dual fluidized bed systems. Additionally, future development trends of chemical looping combustion technology are also briefly discussed.
