Abstract:
This paper proposes a single-phase single-stage couple inductor split-source Boost inverter suitable for new energy power generation. The proposed converter has the following characteristics: 1) High output voltage Boost factor by adopting the Δ-source coupled inductor structure, as well as a more free degree of freedom in adjusting the output voltage gain; 2) improved reliability of the inverter by implementing the dual-Buck structure to suppress the shoot-through current; 3) a high modulation factor under the condition of high output voltage gain, thereby improving the quality of the output voltage waveform. Comprehensive working principles, modulation strategy, steady-state analysis and parameter design guideline are introduced; both simulation and experimental results are presented to confirm the characteristics of the proposed topology.
