Abstract:
The switching test is one of the most important tests to evaluate the long-term operation reliability of the on-load tap changer (OLTC). In order to solve the problems of long test periods and high test costs of the existing switching test, this paper develops an efficient switching test technique. First, a high-efficiency switching test circuit that satisfies the switching of multiple OLTCs is proposed, and the influence of parameters on the test results is analyzed. Secondly, based on ATP-EMTP, the simulation analysis of different OLTC numbers and different test schemes are carried out, and the test scheme of high-efficiency switching test is introduced. Finally, according to the test scheme of "after one OLTC switching is completed, the other OLTC starts switching", two different types of OLTCs are used to verify the high-efficiency switching test circuit. The results show that the test circuit meets the test conditions and the requirements of efficient switching tests for OLTC switching when multiple OLTCs perform switching tests, which provides a beneficial reference for the switching test of OLTCs.
