Abstract:
Pad misalignment is almost inevitable in most wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, which leads to system performance degradation due to the variation of system parameters. Based on S-S and P-S compensation topology, this paper proposes a compact WPT system with dual-coupled SP-S compensation with anti-offset characteristics. Two coaxially arranged, mutually decoupled, rounded square coils are used as the energy transmitting coils, which are coupled with a single square receiving coil to improve the anti-offset tolerance in the
X and
Y directions. In the process of receiving coil offset, the output of one transmitting coil loop is increased and the output of the other coil loop is reduced by resonance parameter configuration, so that the system output fluctuates gently with the offset of the receiving coil. The design method of the structural parameters of the square decoupling coil is put forward and the influence of shunt compensation capacitance on the offset resistance of output is also analyzed. An experimental platform is built to verify the feasibility of the proposed method and the anti-misalignment performance of the proposed WPT system.
