Abstract:
The transformation of the power system from traditional fossil energy as the main body to new energy as the main body is an important development path to achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality". With the high proportion of new energy entering the grid, the construction of large energy bases has been accelerated. Under the concept of the new energy base construction, this paper explores the active support capability of new energy system from the perspective of power supply, as well as combines various energy storage forms using the power generation index, peak regulation, primary frequency regulation, and inertia response capability of thermal power plants. As the characteristic target, taking the thermal power and new energy data in a certain area of Inner Mongolia as an example, this paper studies the construction method of the energy base that meets the characteristic target, and predicts that under the trend of the construction of the energy base, the "non-thermal power" energy base will be used in the new power system.
