Abstract:
Affected by the control strategy of inverter-interfaced generators, the performance of existing methods for improving anti-transition resistance capabilities in traditional grids deteriorate under island grid. This article first introduces the operating mode and traditional control strategy of inverter-interfaced generators during fault period. Based on that, a novel negative sequence voltage suppression strategy is proposed. Combinend with the traditional negative sequence current suppression strategy, the control strategy realized the open circuit in negative sequence branch on the side of the new energy station and the short circuit in negative sequence branch on the side of the storage station bus during the fault. Furthermore, based on the negative sequence in the composite sequence network, solution of fault distance under single-phase ground fault is proposed under single-phase ground fault. Based on the PSCAD/EMTDC, the simulation results show that the scheme has a high measurement accuracy of calculating fault distance, which greatly enhances the anti-transition resistance capabilities of distance protection under single phase ground fault.
